Hey everyone -

Last year MAC Report Online published a stand-alone, 51-page adobe preview of the 2007 MAC Football Season. For those that may have missed it or don't remember, here is a link:

While we are still several months from football sesaon, we are in the early stages of planning and I was wondering if this would be something that you would be willing to pay a nominal amount for, such as say $5.95. This would be really just to cover our costs.

Come on Dave. Predicting CMU to finish 3rd in the MAC West last yr? It looks like 2008 pre-season forecasts will be the same. How much more BSUWMU hype are we going to be subjected to? As long as CMU has a healthy LeFevour, the smart money will be all over the chips!

Dave, Dave, Dave, the Birdbrains and BROwNCOwS winning at K/S in the same year (08)????? NOT in our freakin' lifetime! And you can bet the house that the HURONators are going to pay dearly for last year's upset!!! We'll even bring some spring UM grads along to see what graduation would have looked like in Ypsi.

It is just too predictable. You are going to say with the loss of our defensive players and given how bad our defense played last year than this year is all about THE AMAZING, THE UNSTOPPABLE, THE UNFLAPPABLE NATE DAVIS and whatever team he plays for. I am not going to pay 5 dollars for a picture of Nate Davis on the cover.

Anyways, I probably would be willing to pay for it. I think you guys do a good job and I think I would support it.

Aren't you guys tied in with Ball State somehow too? Maybe that is why they are always hyped up....

Somebody over there responded in the thread with something like, "Why would we pay $5.95 for fifty pages of MAC football information when we can pay $9.95 per month over here for no information at all."

I kind of sensed the thread was bound for deletion after that.

Dave...we appreciate all your hard work...and now you know why so many of us have such a bad taste in our mouth about site admin-beatwestern (thomas mehl). It's rediculous how much deleting he does over there. He deletes more than he provides insider information.

Anyways...I would gladly help your efforts. Count me in...just as long as you don't vote for the Chippewas to win the MAC in 2008. We all know the MAC media has never got it right...and because I'm superstitious...the Chippewas have not been picked to win the MAC the last two years...so pick us to finish last so we can have 2006 & 2007 results.

I agree, pick us 3rd at best.
