Not sure, Q took 2 shots, Dials took 2 for them and we got another 2. I know they called Q for a foul for shoving #2 for them after he got called for a foul, not sure where the extra 2 FTs for us came from. The announcers really didn't say, I was just listening to the arena announcer in the background.

Ts on both teams. Akron was chippy at the end and it showed. NOOOOO CLASS!

Needle indicated the officials were talking about "#2 - Blue" which would have been Milum.

They should've rolled #2 into the student section and given him a beatdown.

Q had a helluva all around game, double-double, one of these days he'll get a few more blocks and have a triple-double.

They must have heard our call. In the second half they played with a great amount of intensity, heart, and out hustled crAkron...Now that my friends is Kent State Basketball!!!!

Don't forget Mincy and Sherman. Brought the fire and the D when they really needed. I have no idea how they one this one, but I may not sleep tonight I am so wired from this one. All I can say is they decided to play Kent State b-ball and not get out played at their own game by the zippies.

And Knight early on in limited PT, he played well when I didn't expect it. Did Woods play in the 2nd half?

Great comeback by the Flashes, and we saw the real CrAkron at the end of the game. (Also great job by the boys to cover for those of us that are into that type of thing!)

It was fun watching those Akron fans start leaving early. I give kidos to the team for playing well all through this stretch. We are in the middle of playing 4 tough teams.

I thought we were done for when they went up by 10-11 and Dials was unconscious from deep. Huge props to KSU's defense for taking it up a notch in the second half. Q was throwing a one-man block party, and Mincy and Fisher were playing outstanding D on the perimeter. Nice ball movement on the offensive end, and some impressive transition baskets. Just a great win all the way around.

I couldn't figure out why UA's coach didn't run some plays for Dials in the second half. Fisher did a nice job of negating him for much of the second half, but their coach didn't help matters.

What will the number one Zips booster, "Ellen" Akronzander, have to say about all this in tomorrow's Pee Dee ? Should be interesting.
