Toledo is tied with EMU and WMU for the lead coming into today's games. Since Toledo hasn't played either school yet, how can EMU win the tie-breaker?

After 3 games the MAC seeds are taking shape. Lots of tiebreakers used to factor the seeds right now. UB has played the most difficult schedule so far in the MAC, but they get the cupcakes of Ohio and Miami this week.

EMU beat WMU and that where the tie breaker for first comes in right now. EMU with the strongest win.

I guess I see what you are saying, but until Toledo loses to WMU this afternoon we haven't lost to either EMU or WMU. EMU holds a tie-breaker over WMU, but not over Toledo.

It's too early anyway. I'm just shocked that Toledo is actually tied for first at this point.

Stronger wins and weaker loss were breaking ties. EMU playing Ball State right now. EMU looking to go to 3-1 and get some separation in the standings. Ball State can't afford another home loss. That equals a double digit seed when you loose at home multiple times in the MAC.

Didn't conference play just begin?

Is this seeding for basketball?

Didn't NIU defeat Toledo? Was that their only win?

Is this the ranking for intramural broomball?

Didn't Miami win the East division?

Isn't Ohio U the flagship? That means something in the standings, right?

Akron fields althletic teams? In the NCAA?

BGSU has a good women's basketball program.

What happened to Ball State? They used to have excellent bball and football.

Does Chris Kaman have any eligibility left for CMU?

It is WAY to early for this stuff. BTW, yes, Toledo is our one MAC win out of 2 games(lost close one at home to EMU).

WMU beat UT 75-62 and Ball State beat EMU 64-60 today.

WMU is in first at 3-1 and UT, BSU, and EMU are all 2-2.

We are already a full game out of a bye to KSU and BG after only 4 games. That is a fact I find disturbing.

As opposed to a half game? Chill, it's way early.

Hence my issue, its too early after 4 games to be down 1 game for the bye.

We have 12 MAC games left. If we go 9-3 which is a huge stretch at this point that leaves us 11-5 short of the bye. We have to be perfect down the stretch against the MAC West and I know that is not realistic.

I'm suprised you have NIU up there. I'd be suprised if we made the MAC tourney.
