Good reporting KzooColt. I decided to go to a high school basketball game tonight. I kind of figured we were overmatched tonight.

Well, when you go against the number 1 team with the stats that they have, you expect to take a beating.

Steve Silver puts the broncos onto the board in the third period.
Way to Go Steve
4-1
Ryan Watson withthe Assist

RE: Western Michigan vs U of M 1-11-08
I haven't figured for sure who is in goal as gametracker has had Kuhn in Goal, but on the radio they are calling it as Gill in goal. I tend to believe that it is Gill.
12:00 remaining in third period.

Penalty on Western Michigan. Slashing called on Jeff LoVecchio
s.o.g. 36-15
They just called that Jerry Kuhn Came in, so that answers the earlier confusion. Go Jerry!

Broncos Kill it off.
8:07 to go in Third Period. Score 6-1

Well, since we have given 6 different players for Michigan the opportunity to score in front of a sold out home crowd, I sure hope that they are such good sports tomorrow and return the favor in front of a sold out screaming Western Michigan audience.

Current shots on goal 40 U of m-20 WMU, with 5 minutes left in the third period.

RE: Western Michigan vs U of M 1-11-08
Too many men on the ice penalty for Michigan putting the Broncos on the Power Play.
1:45 remaining in third period.

Michigan back to full strength without the Broncos able to capitalize.

Well, the foregone conclusion expected against the #1 team in the nation results in a 6 to 1 loss for the Broncos.

Shots on goal 44-22

Tomorrow is another day. Bring it on!!

RE: Western Michigan vs U of M 1-11-08
Well, we can always count on beating LSSU and Ohio State. At least half of the time, anyway. Half of the time when we're on home ice, that is. And only then when Jimmy finds his Mojo in time for the game. Which isn't often anymore.

Maybe Western should scrap the Hockey program and start a Curling squad???
