A little news:
Looks like the fball team will be in the Ind. or Alamo bowl.
The bball team is not as good (yet) as we would have liked.
1. now we know why Huggs did not recruit anyone over 6-9 before. Colon and Bennnet are just too darn slow. Bennet is a 2-3 year project. I would much rather be a little smaller with a Hicks/Maxiel than 7' people.
2. How many times has Huggs turned a sg into a point???? Not getting the kid that went to Missouri hurt.
3. The question is can Walker come in and help enough to give the 2-3 extra wins to put Kst into the dance?
4. Huggs will wack a couple of guys to make room for a couple top Juco's. The problem is one of them will not be a point guard.
5. Dont be suprised if Bennet transfers after this year.

Ive actually felt like Bennett is slowly coming along. You have to remember that he is still a project, but I like both his and Colons potential. Huggs just needs to get an athletic big man beside them to offset their lack of quickness. They are forced to do to much when they are in their right now due to the lack of big men.

He is a star in his and recruiting peoples minds. He will not stand for 10-15 min per game playing time. He is lazy up and down the floor and thus Huggs will beat him to either submission or quiting.....I say 50/50 at this point.

An inside source for me tells me we are going to the Alamo Bowl. Missouri is getting pushed back to the Texas Bowl.

He works for the K-State Sports Information Department doing statistics at the football, b-ball and volleyball. This is pretty credible stuff.
