I do not know how many of you are making it to the game since it has been sold out a while. Have access to a downtown loft apt. and two game tickets. I'll be checking this thread periodicallly. Hopefullyl it will be a number 1-2 matchup by then.
Oh my gosh, I am so excited. Our Vols are #1. I just didn't know how the game was going to go but Tennessee played fantastic. I am so happy that we were able to take down the #1 team in the nation in front of a national tv audience and in the FEDEX forum.
Now to focus on #16 Vanderbilt coming up Tuesday night in Nashville. We don't want our #1 ranking to be short lived. This is going to be a tough game, any road game is tough. And then we have Kentucky at home and I can guarantee you the Vols are not going to let the Wildcats beat them again, especially at home. And the Wildcats have gotten tough. And then Florida on the road. Am I missing any game? Oh yeah, and South Carolina at home.
I live here in Memphis now but was born and raised in Knoxville but have been a Tennessee Vols fan since I was 10 years old. My blood runneth orange I think. I am so proud of our team, we really had it together and didn't get rattled when we were down 61-58. We just executed well and did what we had to do.
This team is really great.

HAHA this team WAS really great (blah blah), BigOrange...right up til Vandy slammed the door on that number one ranking sticking. So, in like 30 years you can tell your grandkids that you remember when the vowels beat the mighty mighty TIGERS to capture the number one ranking...for approximately 29 hours...and then gave it back....HAHAHAHA!!

Still exhibiting sour grapes??? I see Memphis has gone back to the high school conference games again with the Tulsa game tonight. 40-19. Wow, they are really doing something tonight by beating up on a high school level college team from the high school conference.
