Big man on campus, Beasley projects as NBA star
[quote]Two or three years from now, when Michael Beasley is playing for some fortunate NBA team, folks around here will think back to this weekend.

They will remember watching the top-rated high school power forward in the country test his skills against the nation

that's nice....

let's see what he does on the court...you know, it real life.

Jerrod Ward was a big time Michigan recruit in 1993 and was supposed to be the next wave of "fab five" and the guy sucked and was riding the pine by the end of his frosh. year...never to be heard of again...

we'll see

remember when Coach Huggins used to tell us about how ferocious of rebounders that MIKE REICHENECKER and DEREK HOLLMAN were? Kstate, there are lots of players that will be talked up but when they compete in the division I games that they suddenly don't pan out. Wait until they arrive on campus and play in the games before foaming at the mouth. Don't forget Jason Bennett either. Hugss said he was unbelievable!!!!!

Give me a f&ckin break, did you just compare Mike Beasley to Derrick Hollman. The Rock(Reichenberger) was a Tony Yates leftover. Nobody ever said JB was gonna be putting up double figures right away, everyone has said dont expect much offense his first couple years but he should provide immediate defense and rebounding help. So far he is averaging 3 blks and 4 rebounds a game in 15 minutes. Everyone knew he was a project. Hollman was a last minute pickup that never panned out. Big deal, happens at every program.

Huggins has NEVER said Bennett is unbelievable. Nothing even remotely close to that. Huggins just comments on his height and how it can effect the whole game. I believe Kenyon, Maxiell, and Hicks were talked up. But your right they didn't exactly pan out. No one would have expected Kenyon in his freshman year that he would one day be a #1 draft pick. Ohh, and Bennett broke the record for most blocks in a game at KSU the other night. He almost did it in a half also. But have fun in the Big East in your "far" superior conference getting your a s s e s kicked in. Maybe you can keep Cronin longer than Dantonio!

Rather than make a freaking Bill of Rights why don't we just get rid of the dumb***. I am sure more people would rather him be banned than be a moderator. Soooooooo, what's the problem now? I think I have an idea.
