My Scout.com account was grandfathered in when ACCBoards, a then ind. site, was bought out by Scout.

Note my account creation date: February 8, 2002
... when ACC Boards officially become a Scout site.

Myself and quite a few other fans, unhappy with the move to Scout, then founded ACCbbs that very same month. In specific, February 25, 2002.

My account info was inherited from ACC Boards, where NCAAbbs splintered off from long long ago. The only reason I even still have that account is because some highly lame Scout sites (like, say, SpartanThunder) require "apply for access" to read... and I find that a giant pain in my arse as I am often PM'ed links to all sorts of board threads, including those on Scout. Save < 5 posts on The Hive and private conversation with ex-ACCBoards admin and tech man UpperDeckChevy, I haven't even used Scout since I splintered from ACCBoards in 2002.

But of course, I'm sure you knew that all along right Miss Cleo?

Noteworthy as well is that we have no problem with you setting a link to your website in your profile.

WE DO have a problem with spamming posts, spamming avatars, spamming signatures, and spamming names ... and you've taken every one but the name rule to the extreme.

You are such a freaking hypocrite Anthony. The second someone even mentions on your cute little WAC board (which I never ever visit by the way because you have an uncanny ability to rub people the wrong way) that there is another WAC board out there, you ban them. But it's perfectly okay for you to pimp your board every five seconds on this board, on everyone elses board, on subways, etc. You call it "marketing". Bullcrap...how much have you paid these people for advertising rights? Not one single cent. That's not marketing. That is spam and that is being a nuisance.

There are claims that a new Wolf Pack poster who asked a legitimate question about Spartan women's basketball was banned after one post. FYI- he is the father of an incomming Nevada women's basketball recruit and was trying to find out information. Maybe someone thought he was making fun of the men's basketball team by calling them the women's team, but I assure you his post was legit. And he was banned.

And it was only a few days ago you stated right here on this very board that not one single person has been banned from your website. I think it's about time you fired the Iraqi Information Minister as your PR guy.

SJGregg informed me of the mishap, and EZE is not banned.

He was mistakenly viewed as a Oregon duck fan whom was posting porn on the board.

That tangent of a post you just made must have ruined a beauitiful saturday for you to boot.

I'll accept that. Mistakes happen and I'm willing to accept that he was mistakenly banned.

However that doesn't change the fact that you are still a hypocrite by "marketing" your board but banning others for doing the exact same thing.

I'm not going to have this discussion again...so let me just give a word of advice. You'll attract more people to your board by showing respect, by following the same rules that you set forth, and by not trying to bully people around into coming to your board and then bullying them once they arrive.
