An analysis by the New York Times traces a lot of the guys who got caught ultimately back to referrals by David Segui and Todd Hundley. It is amazing how quickly things got out of hand as those two players moved from one team to another. The Mitchell Report, of course, is not even the tip of the iceberg as there were surely many more trainers or attendants supplying players with steroids who were simply smart enough to cover their tracks better for the time being.
