Not the first Huggins team that can't make shots. I'm guessing they at least murdered W & M on the boards.

The defense and rebouding was definately much better. Still inconsistent od defense, but the last 10 minutes of the first half they looked about as good a defensive team Ive seen. Other times, they looked lackadasical. The shooting should improve, really because thats the only thing it can do. Cant get much worse than 29%.

Im assuming that the players are still getting accustomed to Huggins' practices and rounding into shape.

From listening to a majority online, I got the impression they missed quite a few routine shots as well...

The defense is always going to be ahead of the offense early in the season...

Hopefully Martin gets out of his slum soon. He was 13 pts under his average of 18 from last year. Young needs to cut down on the TO's as well. They squandered about 4 or 5 "2 on 1" or "3 on 1" fast break opportunities.

coaching "O" was never Huggs strong suit...having said that, they'll be fine. I always preferred a good defense and Huggs will supply that
