For Cincinnati Based Fans
Lance McAlistair of 136homer said today he wanted fans to leave his show if they were fans of Bob Huggins and did not root for the Univerity of Cincinnati, that it was somehow disloyal.

Please call or email the show to let him know how you feel:

This is weird, Ive talked to Lance on Email, and he was saying he was trying to get a KSU bball segment every week this year talking to Huggs or someone at KSU. Lance seems to ride whatever gravy train that he feels has the most gravy.

nick,
where in the world did you hear or read such a lie? quit making crap up to make yourself feel better. Lance supports coach huggins and also the university of cincinnati. Also, most of us UC fans hope HUGGINS takes a team to the ncaa championship someday. STICK to the truth and quit making something out of nothing.

Crosstown Shootout
Interesting that ESPN no longer thinks this deserves either ESPN or ESPN2, but has relegated the game to ESPNU. However the 'big-time rivalry' between KSU and Xavier will be shown nationally on ESPN. Anyone think the loss of Huggs keeps UC/XU off national TV? Thanks again to those wonderful administrators at UC for their foresight. No matter how good a recruiter Mick Cronin is, he'll have tough going when they don't see themselves on national TV.

Cronin will be ok. I think the UC team will be solid next year and could be in the NCAA.

Cronin will be OK--Provided Nancy makes an early exit for OSU. Could that still happen? Who knows? Her 1-year extension was a bit unusual. Maybe it was a way for the University to buy time while they find her replacement...maybe they truly have opted for a sports version of "nuclear winter" with her at the helm for the long term.

I hope it isn't the latter...
