J.J. dropped one against Miami but also caught one. He also dropped another one earlier in the season. I don't think it's so much a case of us ignoring the TE as it is the WR position being so talented this season. Plus, J.J. was a true freshman. He'll be used more as time goes on, but trying to force the ball to am inexperienced player, when there are so many talented options around him, strikes me as a bad idea. Besides, the offense ain't broke. Why try to fix it?

DID YOU EVEN READ THE WHOLE POST YOU QUOTED?

Does CMU graduate people who can't read?

The "no drops from the TE" was regarding the championship game.

Let's see, Anderson dropped a bunch at Western, Brown dropped his share too. Certainly wouldn't want to throw to a guy who dropped one ball all season (you say he didn't have many balls thrown his way--------MY POINT MADE).

I agree with CW, we've got to use JJ more, especially in the MCB. The spread is just that, so let's START spreadin' it around, just like we do with running backs. In this respect (use of TE) Jones is too conservative.

Doesn't Heeke have experience promoting a certain QB for Heisman while at Oregon? His name escapes me but he made a big splash a few years ago with a local Pro team.

Fire Up! Lefevre 3000 yards in the air 1000 on the ground.

OK, "Mr. Watt", go ballistic much? I wasn't being critical of J.J., just stating why I thought he wasn't getting the ball more this season. I would expect he will continue to become a bigger part of the offense, especially as people worry about our WRs. You, sir, need to chill!

If we have such a great TE in JJ Watt...then how come he hardly ever gets the ball? I'm sure we could have had a few more designed plays and threw him the ball allot more, which is what you would assume from such a highly recruited player. I watched allot of games this year and let me tell you...JJ was kept in to block about 85% of the time.

JJ has blocked his a$$ off this season and has done a great job...however I believe if we had a few more designed plays thrown his way...defenses would not know where to begin trying to defend our offense with guys like Brown and Anderson.

Central had JJ and AB with LeFevour at QB and didn't destroy the MAC. Hope yall got rid of that incompetent head coach and OC
