Exactly....

Well what I do know is UCF is 10-3, won their conference and will get a championship trophy.

Unlike USF's

Congrats on the Conference Championship where the overall conference is 65-81, it only took you around 30 years to accomplish.

That would allow Arkansas to jump to the Big 12, which they have been wanting to do and then that would allow FSU to jump to the SEC, which they would love to do. That opens up an ACC slot and USF proved first hand that the BCS tag will improve a team quickly. Now considering the size of the school, the facilties in place and the location of the school, UCF will be a contender for expansion.'

ST Knight, how can you be so sure of this? You're banking an awful lot on the whole hypothetical Arkansas move. IF the Big 10(11) went to 12, and they took a team from the Big XII, why do you think the Big XII would replace them with Arkansas? If you have any real info on why Arkansas would leave the SEC, pray tell. They may have been in the old SWC at one time, but they seem perfectly fine in the SEC. No, it seems much more likely that if the Big XII were shopping for another team, it would be from the MWC. Don't know that they'd look seriously at C-USA(western teams) or the WAC. I don't see it happening, which rather torpedoes your entire domino structure and where UCF can get into the BCS. I think you'll see that the Big East is the only game in town for eastern teams.05-nono

There have been rumors for years that Arkansas wants back to the old SWC rivals, the only way to do that is to join the Big 12. Geographically it works for them much better then the SEC where they have no real rival.

Since all you usf fans act like you know me, then you should know where and what my souce is.

Your only source is that little voice in your head. I am sure that Arkansas is just wetting themselves to get into the Big 12 and earn about half what they are earning from the SEC, along with about half the prestige, so that they can join a conference that is very unstable, if you want to listen to the rumors that you rely on so much.

You mistyped "sauce," which I'm pretty sure I can take a guess...

Now, to be fair, you're going to tell everybody about your father-in-law or whomever who has ties to FSU. Which is fine and all that, but if the Noles are leaving for the SEC as you claim (which, of course, is a two way street and requires the SEC to actually, you know, invite them), how is it that "Dad" is going to help get UCF that invitation to the ACC over, say, Syracuse, or West Virginia, or UConn? Let's not forget that this is going to have to get past the votes of Duke and UNC, and I'm sure they're all just dying to have the Knights in for basketball every year...

Which 15 minutes?

The 91' Fiesta bowl win against an Alabama team that had the #1 defense and won 8 of their last 9 games before getting 25 points put on them IN THE 1ST QUARTER!!!???

The 01' season with a 10-2 record and a Liberty Bowl win against 10-1 BYU?

The 04' season with a Liberty Bowl win against undefeated Boise St and finishing with a #5 national ranking....a season that saw us dominate C-USA with PPG's and margin of victories that is still unmatched? A team that broke the record for the most consecutive 50 point games?

The 06' Orange Bowl Champ team that finished #6 in the country?

It's funny that the rumors say Arkansas wants back to the Big 12, making less money, less national exposure and less media markets in a conference that has constant in-fighting and less stability then the SEC, when Arkansas says otherwise:

Quote:As to money, UCF will make more money then USF just from having the stadium on campus and all that revenue from it. UCF did not sell it's season tickets for $12.50 a game like USF. USF is not getting concession money, USF is not getting suite sales. Oh and the trophy, it was good enough when UL won it, and last I checked, USF does not have ONE trophy in their case. Oh wait, yes they do, a pizza box.

You're on crack if you think that UCF is going to make more money then USF. Even if your convulted reasons you mentioned above are true, you still have to take into account the near 2 million bucks USF would get from the Sun Bowl, the 2 to 3 million dollars they would get from the BCS, the near 2 million they will get from the Big East football TV package and the several million they would get from the Big East basketball package. And the TV package will go up considerably when the TV deal kicks in this summer. Hey, I would rather have a Pizza box in my trophy case then nothing at all.
