Not a good night for CUSA Hoops
Clemson blows out ECU
Oklahoma has a 46-16 lead over Tulsa at the half
TCU leads SMU 34-29 at the half
Tulane up big against a non-D1
South Alabama leads Southern Miss 35-29 early in the 2nd half
Rice leads Texas State - San Marcos (D1?) by 7 at the half.

If Rice is leading, chances are it isn't Division 1.

At the risk of showing obvious ignorance, Southland Conference is D1 yeah?

SMU has taken a 7 point lead, still lots of time remaining to screw it up though... Of course TCU sucks too.

USA clinging to a 6 point lead under 3 minute to go.

Yes it is D1. Texas State-San Marcos used to be called Southwest Texas State. Changed name in 2003.

Well they're making a run on Rice, lead down to 3.

USA has a decent team this season. Ole Miss beat them by 3, at Oxford, and Vanderbilt beat them in OT, at Nashville.

USM loses, 75-68. Their only remaining opportunity for a quality win will be a neutral-site game against Ole Miss.

Rice wins also.

SMU's and Rice's wins helped them jump well out of the 300-range of the RPI. Still 250+ though.

Southern Miss is still the lone CUSA team lacking a D1 win.

Great. Did Eustacy find the beer stash? USM was supposed to be a top 4/5 conference team.

I think Eustacy was too busy helping his friend Tim Floyd at USC come up with a gameplan against Calipari

Southern Miss lost to a Sun Belt team in basketball. And since they're changing football coaches, they could conceivably have a losing season while the players get used to the new coach's system.

In short, Southern Miss sucks. I say we kick them out of C-USA and replace them with Mississippi Valley State.

Hey, USM has a lot going for it! Arm-pit like humidity, week-end ****-roach races, daily who-can-kill-the-most-mosquitos contests, cry-in-your-beer night at Bubba'a saloon, etc. Who wouldn't appreciate all that excitement. What do you want? Troy?
