Progress; W 75-59 over Furman
A nice win tonight. A very team oriented game. It's good to see everyone working well together. Team basketball wins games. I thought all players who saw the floor were great. Pfhol & Aaron were the top highlights, sharp shooting. Hopefully this is a sign the coaching staff and players are on the same page.

edit -- Dolan and Henry were also animals down low with quality shooting. I thought Florence played one of his most productive and balanced games all year.

What did Furman look like? I don't know anything about them this year. Which is in of itself sad.

Don't be discouraged by the slow start Mercer...your team is going to come around and be right in the mix of things come Atlantic Sun Conference Play.

Gold -- They looked like a team without much of a game plan. I don't know how many players they lost, but Furman spanked Mercer last year. Now they are 0-7 I believe. They tried to live by the 3, and it kept them in it during the 1st half. Furman is nothing to fear.

Kennesaw -- Thanks. Hopefully you're right. As for KSU, I'm still looking forward to seeing Wooten play this year. Hope they put some of your games on ASun.tv

Your teams scares me this year. You have a lot of talent that can do some serious damage in this league. I have less faith in your coach, however. Florence is one of my favorite players in the league.

Exactly my thoughts, BucFaithful. Our coach is our biggest problem.

Yes it does BucsFan, yes it does! And what a shock, the best coach (Belmont's Byrd) has been winning the last two championships! Wow!! 03-idea
