Season Expectations?
Going into the season...I expected at minimum to win the MAC. With as much talent BJ inherited...especially with a guy named LeFevour at QB...what has been achieved this season was the minimum expectation, however it's BJ's first year and I give him a round of applause :clap2:. Did he fumble along the process...he sure as heck did...and I'm sure he will admit that himself...he's got allot to learn and I give him credit for leading us to another Championship. Do we give him the keys to the city...05-nono (Not Yet).

Congratulations to BJ, the staff and especially the players who had to execute on the field. Let's get rid of the "Leo" and craft a decent defensive scheme next year and we'll have a very good team.

This season has been a roller coaster, however at the end of the day...we can say we beat western and we're MAC Champs. The only thing left this year is to beat Purdue 04-jawdrop.

I'll admit I did'nt expect another MAC Championship
but also I did'nt expect a 2-9 record like SI figured in their
preseason college football issue.

RE: Season Expectations?
I didn't expect a championship. The coaching staff was good enough to get one. That's great! I think they learned a lot from this season.

We shall see how things play out.

Most reasonable people saw some of the mistakes they made. Some have blind faith in them. Oh well, I've grown tired of trying to reason with those people on the other board. It's not worth the effort, it takes the enjoyment out of the game, and they won't change.

Lets get the team healthy and see what we can do against Purdue. I think it will be a lot closer than the first meeting.

Have a good Christmas everyone.

I'll be back in contact with the people I've corresponded with via PM's

I think the PLAYERS more than the coaches are to be commended. They were the ones who went through the most, and when it came to crunch time, they came through gallantly. We need juco dbs who can get in people's grills. Let's hope the coaches can grow as much as the players. HAIL TO THE CHIPPEWA!
