Looks like the Central Florida fans held off until the last minute. It's actually kinda funny.

Aparrently ~40,000 fans out of 48,0000 voted within the last 15 minutes.


Update: but Colt Brennan only needed %2 to be picked the winner.

Remember, this is the state of Florida, home to Hanging Chads! What certainly happened was someone "cracked" the polling system, enabling ten of thousands of votes to be automatically submitted by one person.

What surprised me is the failure of USA Today to modify the final tally by simply deleting the votes that were submitted following the start of the deluge. It still shows the UCF player getting over 90% of the votes.
