I hope this is a done deal. UM football will at least be exciting for a couple of years until he moves to straighten out the Lions.

The more and more I keep reading about the coaching carousel...the more and more it looks like BK will get the Michigan job. Also...BK is also considered for the Nebraska job. Check out the link below:

I'm sure he'd be interested. His resume is probably on its way! I remember last year when all the Cincy fans were on the Scout board bragging about how they got Kelly to come to Cincy & how he would build their program into a power, & he would stay & they were BC$ & Big East & etc, etc, etc. When actually they were all: 03-drunk

And I remember how most of us were telling them that there is no way in hell Kelly would be staying at Cincy for very long.

Although, I admit, I thought he'd be there more than 12 months! 03-lmfao Doesn't look that way now. One and done. 03-yawn

Anyone go over to the Cincy boards and give them an I told you so? Kelley may be doing this for a bigger contract from Cincy.

RE: Brian Kelly to Michigan?
When BK was hired at Cincy, I visited their scout Cincy board in good faith to congratulate them on landing an excellent coach. I told them they would have instant success and national attention. I even told them to enjoy the ride, however I recommended that they treat BK like a girlfriend, more than a wife, because the breakup with the girlfriend will take less time to get over than a divorce. Like you…I knew BK would make noise this year and I expected him to win a Championship next year, because he didn’t have to rebuild like he did at CMU. BK is one hell of a coach and if you don’t like his personality…just remember…the man knows how to win. He’s a hot commodity right now and I don’t blame him…I’d want him to guide my program because all that means is good times.

According to footballscoop.com:

"Michigan: Getting closer to naming Brian Kelly HC"

Also...NIU has some good candidates (Martin & Bohl):
NIU names: Chuck Martin, Craig Bohl, Dan McCarney, Jerry Kill, Joker Phillips

Dave Christensen (Mizzou OC) who interviewed for the CMU job is considered for the Houston, SMU and Washington State job.
