I'm pretty sure you don't know what Socialism is. I'm also pretty sure you "don't get" talking points. They're probably over your head.

Look *******, the wealth redistribution it's going to take for the government to provide healthcare is Socialism. You talk about my intellect yet it seems to be you that is lacking in that department. You constantly talk about what an utter failure government has been, yet you want to essentially hand the medical industry over to the same government. Pretty ******* stupid if you ask me, but it's right up your ally.

You do a wonderful job proving your intellect (or lack thereof) with your limited vocabulary.

Also, it's "alley" not "ally."

RE: Sicko
I ran into a Canadian family at the hospital cafeteria this month. I was there for the birth of my son and they were down from Canada for the highly ranked cardiovascular unit at Fairfax County INOVA Hospital.
Had the conversation that we have had on this board numerous times. They said while the system in Canada is great for little things, when you have a serious ailment and have the money you head south for care. With the current exchange rate Canadians enjoy we will probably see more and more showing up at U.S. hospitals.

I also ran into folks from Europe and the Middle East that were at the hospital for its Cardiovascular unit.
