How about this?
From today's Beacon-Journal:
Quote:Sophomore guard Chris Singletary did not play and was dressed in street clothes for the third consecutive game.

Having served a two-game suspension for violating university policy, he continued to sit out Sunday with a hip flexor injury.

''He's probably going to redshirt,'' Christian said. ''(Singletary) could have probably played today, but it's such a quick turn-around time. With an injury like that, if you don't let it heal 100 percent, it could linger and become worse.''

That would be a shocker. With everyone coming back next year except Scott and Q, it will be quite a logjam when you add in Ronnie Moss and DeMaria.

RE: How about this?
Just saw in the PD that JC said DeMaria is going to redshirt this season. I bet S. Storm's quote about redshirting is referring to him, not Chris. Poorly written/edited, or poorly understood.

RE: How about this?
He was speaking of DiMaria on the red-shirt. He said they talked and left the decision up to Antonio. DiMaria took the red-shirt seeing how it has helped guys like Mike McKee.

He said Chris could have played but there was no reason to push it with an injury like that. It could get worse quickly and ruin his season. They are listening to the doctors and trainers on when to let him get back to it.

YES, S. STORM HAS BEEN MISINFORMED IN THE PAST, AND IT CONTINUES.

GLAD TO SEE THEY MADE IT OFFICIAL ON DEMARIA, NEXT YEAR WHEN Q AND SCOTT GONE HE SHOULD SEE PLENTY OF ACTION.
