I will give you that one because he was acquitted of all charges. But what else because as you state "tons of stuff are overstated" what else?
they mention an NCAA violation like he had them all the time, when actual all it was was that john loyer gave a kid a way to get back to his California home for Xmas that equaled lack of Institutional control... he was not a cheater here as it implies..
what's wrong with him still working even though he didn't have a job?(recruiting) there wasn't anything wrong with it why bring it up?
Also... they act like UC has more than their share of runin with the law, there are plenty of Schools with more legal problems than UC ever had, and more serious ones too. Also ANYONE that was ever convicted was kicked off the team... for the record.. two where kicked off the team Donald Little and Roy BRight(who had NEVER been in any kind of trouble before)

Whats also funny is how the team you root for is has gone from top 10 prgram to 13th best in conference. Good luck, I think you guys have a great shot at making the conferene toirnament this year or at least the conference NIT.

Todd, I dont think you get it. He addressed every single negative possible about Huggs, without any positives. You can take any coach or person in the country and come up with a bad rapport of them and a good one as well. Also, the article fails to mention people like T-Gibson who didnt graduate, but yet is still head of sales at JTM. You are such a tool todd, you sit hear and bash Huggs players, but if you get an interview from a player like Herb Jones or Steve Logan (non graduates) for your gay site, you'd be frothing at the mouth like the tool you are. Go enjoy your 2 star recruits over in Nancy land, we have 5 stars to worry about.

whatever dude...historically Kstate doesn't hold a stick to UC....just because UC is down now doesn't mean they will stay that way. WE play in the BE and WE are UC...10th best program of all time rated by Street and Smith....Kstate wasn't in their top 30......
enjoy your 30 seconds in the sun. at the end of the day UC will be there, you won't.......and you will certianly never be past the second round...huggs can get ya there, but you aren't going to stay long.....enjoy your early exits to the 10 seeds.....

I love how you praise Huggins in one breath for getting the program in the top 10, then trash him later on. Huggins didn't win a national championship, although we should have with Kenyon, but without him there is no way UC is a top 10 program.

moron, KSU was in the S+S's list. They were #21. Also, UC doesnt crack the top 10 without Huggs 16 year run there. Other than the 5 year run in the early 60's and Huggs, UC never made a sweet 16. KSU has 17 sweet 16's. Check your facts buddy. KSU's fanbase doubles UC's, its not even close. We'll see if little Micky can even get you guys back in the position of saying "we choked in 2nd round". Enjoy trying to get in the NIT.

I like how you bash the man that gave this board and the UC board any half a s s action. You can pick pepper out of fly **** with anyone save mother theresa.
Never mind all the good Huggs did. And I'm talking about the number of kids he helped.
Did Melvins degree count? I think it took him about 7 years to get it!
Drop his rate 5-10 % because the weak could not survive! Whaley, Pilgrim, ect... I like that!
Go pound sand!
Go take your jealous prick rump home!
WE have NCAA to talk about here.
I didn't see him bash Bob Huggins once, he asked a legitimate question.

Good luck to YOU in the NIT, because Kansas State sure isn't going anywhere this year. And, last I checked, Cincinnati wasn't 13th in the Big East. They were PICKED to finish there, but until they get there they are 13th. Just like Kansas State isn't a good team until they actually start winning games.

I guess all those Final Fours and national championships are a figment of our imaginations. Watch us return to the Top 10. Good luck getting there at Kansas State. I'm pretty sure that Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech, Kansas, Iowa State and others are going to have a say in what Kansas State does and does not accomplish.

We know Bob Huggins will get you in that position, and execute it very well, at Kansas State!
Enjoy trying to get in the NIT.

From 1988 and back KSU's and UC's history is about the same.
UC did have the 2 NT's and 5 final 4's, but they were all in the same 5 years. George Smith had a a couple really good recruiting classes and outside of that their history is reletively weak. Those were their sweet 16's that came in that 5 year stretch, and only made the tournament 4 other years. While dring the same stretch KSU had 4 final 4's, 17 sweet 16's, and 21 NCAA tournament appearences. US pre-BH is basically equivelant to San Francisco's history as they one a couple championships way back and had a great player in Bill Russel like the Big O.

whick you werent alive for anyways, so why are you even a UC fan if thats all theyve done.

Yes, that is funny, especially since its basically true. KSU sold out the season at 13500 seats, while UC has 7K at games now. Thats basically double, lol.

I thought you just said BH was gonna get them to the NCAA tournament. Which one is it, NIT or NCAA bust.

Well when KSU plays a ranked team in football, at least they come close to selling out. 27,000 at Nippert to see a Nationally Televised game against an undefeated team this late in a season!
Yes, we may not be an Huggins type team of the past but hell, we have the number one recruiting class in the nation coming along next year. I thought Mick was this great recruiter?

I don't get on UC for last night attendance...
there was alot going on, and everyone thought, why go out and see UC get trounced by the #7 team in the nation, I'd rather sit at home watch the #1 vs #2 game, then snuggle in with the wife to watch the UC Rutgers game on TV...
Why do some want to bash either team? Bash Zimpher, Cox, Wyler, etc... but I will always cheer for UC and cheer for huggins....
I don't like people that come on here and bash Huggins, and I don't understand why people here would bash UC as a whole, and not the admin.....
can't we all just get along?
