WAC lawsuit
The WAC should drop its lawsuit because they will lose just like the Big East did against Boston College. They should start trying to add new members before the conference goes out of business.

When did you become a lawyer David? The WAC's not going out of business and without having researched Colorado case law, their lawsuit appears to be well-founded.

RE: WAC lawsuit
I thought so when the Big East filed against Boston College but he dismissed the case. There is a president for this.

RE: WAC lawsuit
The Big East lawsuit was for monetary damages against the ACC and the schools that left. And even if that case bore on this result, Colorado courts are not bound by the precedent set in that case, because the WAC case is based on Colorado law.

Don't forget your school would join the Big East if it had the chance. I bet Conference USA would try to file a lawsuit to stay in the conference and lose.

RE: WAC lawsuit
No, CUSA would not as long as UCF properly notified CUSA of their intention to leave by the date required by the bylaws.
