Our group tailgated on the east side of Spartan Stadium on a grass field. Not to mention we started at Fishermans Wharf, got a pound of fresh crab meat, A fresh Boudine Sour Dough round, Butter and some great cheese, combined with ample Savignon Blanc, what a pregame meal. The atmosphere was festive, the SUSU band was playing, the cheerleaders were also there, and the SJSU football team walked into the stadium through the tailgate area. We are Nevada fans that tailgated right in the middle of SJSU fans, no problems, just a great time. IMO, the experience gets an A.

Wine, cheese and crab for a tailgate party ?

I am sure it was great food and all but until you grind it all up, put it in a casing and grill it you are not tailgating!

04-cheers

Well, we were in San Jose and close to the Bay area, and we also drank our wine out of real wine glasses, not plastic cups. For the record, the SJSU fans next to us were having Sushi and had white table cloths !! :>)
