I have all the football records updated for all WAC teams coming and going.

I just need to get some stats for the new Aggie schools.

Check it out. Any Aggie fans that can give me the missing information would be appreciated.

Interesting that the 6 WAC survivors all have winning football records and 3 of the 4 schools leaving have losing football records!

Interesting how the three leaving with losing records have played at least 100 more DI games than Boise, and all of them have won more games.

Lies, damned lies and statistics.

And that matters why.....?
I don't see any rankings/good things coming with playing more game and losing.

Take a small sample doesn't always produce accurate results. If after 100 years of DI ball, you still have that high of a win percentage, then you have a case. I can twist the numbers a million different ways-- just as anyone can. You just don't like it when it doesn't suit your view of the world-- nor do I. Life sure can be a [Image: 1_4_105.gif], can't it?

BTW-- Tulsa's record is wrong on there: going in to 2003: 513-406-27 + 2003 (8-5) = 521-411-27

Tulsa also played in the following conferences:

Oklahoma Collegiate 1914-1928 (5 titles)
Big Four 1929-32 (3 titles)
MVC (25 titles-- 19 outright, 6 cochamps)

Enrollment for 2003 is 4072 (2,672 undergraduate, 763 graduate, 637 law).

The DonRey holds 8355.

TU fan, you just don't like the fact that Boise State's football program blows away Tulsa or any of the other CUSA defectors. Nobody cares if you went to the Sugar Bowl or Orange bowl 60 years ago. All they care about is that your only bowl appearance in the past 13 years was a 42 point blowout. You sound like a Notre Dame fan! :crying:

You have the superior basketball program to Boise State, but live up to the fact that you guys haven't been able to compete with BSU on the Gridiron. 04-cheers

That's not it at all. I find it demeaning and disrespectful when people belittle a program (actually all programs) with such a deep, rich history. TU made it through 10 years as an indy before joining the WAC and will return to the glory days. Don't worry though-- it will all come full circle. Some day Boise will be down and someone will come [Image: 10_1_126.gif].

How is posting statistics belittling? I thought the whole point of posting stats in sports forums was to bring facts into a very opinionated environment. Every program has good and bad years. Right now BSU is on top and you guys are just starting to crawl out of the gutter. However, that is no reason to be angry about BSU's recent success, or try to take away from that success just because they were in 1AA until recently. Marshall was in 1AA for over 20 years. Now they are going to be one of the strongest programs in the new CUSA. You guys may have programs like Marshall and BSU beat in terms of tradition, but the point is those schools are building their tradition NOW. Someday, Tulsa will have a season you can be proud of, and you can stop getting mad at fans of better teams. 04-cheers

Who said I was mad? If I were mad you would sure as heck know it. And no-- this is not mad. This is just stressed out and bitchy. It is playoff time afterall, and each round means more money. You'd be irratable too.

I actually thought that TU looked pretty good in the overall standings. The records come from the Data Football warehouse and I have noticed discrepencies between what schools have on their official pages and data warehouse, but I use data warehouse to be consistant.

I will try to have the page completely updated in time for the football season.

The webpage is not meant to put any school down, but just to put the information in a format for comparison of all the WAC schools.
