I agree...pretty fair piece...What gets me and I think Glen and the talking heads touched on it..is.that both parties really are not giving the fiscal conservative/socially Liberal voters what they are looking for.

If either the Rep or Dem mainstream candidates would adopt a few of RPs views...ie..shrinking govt....ending our foriegn empire..ect...then they could push for the social programs...ie..health care and saving SS and actually make a case for being able to pay for them without raising taxes..Hell..even I would vote for that candidate! Unfortunately...I know what is going to happen...RP will be made out to be a joke...and both Hillary and Rudy will battle in a display of dirty politics that may well go down as the ugliest in history...Meanwhile...The K street lawyers and lobbists will have a hand down their pants pleasuring themselves in sheer joy and anticipation of the next 4 years...No matter the winner.
