I noticed that the Aggies (Utah State and New Mexico State) are not listed on the Sun Belt forums. We should add both here since they are coming to the WAC from the Sun Belt.

Utah State was a particularly good addition for the WAC. You guys have to be excited about them.

I don't know about you, but I'm happy with the way things are going to work out for both the WAC and C-USA. The WAC has good schools, but was too spread out to work long term. The new configurations make a lot more sense.

I'll be sorry to not see the Broncos on the schedule, though. Maybe we can play OOC?

I like the rivalry that we have developed with Tulsa. It was great to meet and tailgate with CatBird and TUFan and friends.

Too many teams in the West to play to continue OOC play, but we still have one season to play in the WAC.

La Tech is still out of place. I just don't understand why the WAC doesn't take Idaho for good measure. La Tech will probably go to CUSA if UNT isn't taken. It would seem to me that Idaho could improve if they were in the WAC rather than an all eastern Sun Belt.

BTW, I made mention on the Sun Belt board about USU and NMSU not having forums for their schools. Apparently, the board moderator does have the authority to create new boards for those schools. The Sun Belt moderator did not feel that they belonged and I completely agree.

Still I found it funny that there are no boards for them here on the WAC forum.

Idaho does not meet some of the new d1A requirements and has a very small indoor stadium for football. They only have about 2,000 season ticket holders and really belong in 1AA.

I know La Tech really wants to be in CUSA. The question is does CUSA want La Tech.

La Tech would be a good fit in the Sun Belt.
