I could live with that.

Where would the Big Sky Expand?

Southern Utah?

North Dakota?

There you go spewing again TG. Im a former I-AA fan and still keep intouch with I-AA. Montana has no desire in jumping I-A, they are very happy in I-AA. By the way you haven't jumped yet.

Idaho will end up in the WAC. I just hope they replace Boise State in the WAC when Boise State leaves for the MWC.

The Montana schools will never be in 1a. The only way that the Montana schools will ever be in the WAC is if the WAC drops down to d1aa.

I am from Boise and am fully acquainted with the historic rivalry and long-standing enmity between the schools. I root for the Broncos against any other team besides Utah State. I don't understand the continued position by many BSU fans that they are too good to be in a conference with Idaho. To continue the rivalry where it has meaning in a conference setting makes sense to me. From a Bronco fan's perspective how does holding Idaho down elevate BSU? Let it go guys. It makes geographic sense and financial sense for the two teams to be in the same conference.

USU's in-league rivals would probably be Nevada and Boazy -- folks in Logan never much got interested in San Jose or Fresno, alas, over the many years of PCAA/BWC partnership. San Jose was incrementally more interesting, and actually drew pretty well the last couple of years of BWC FB with San Jose around.

Many believe USU fans will appreciate the Cal States better now and come in greater numbers. I hope so, but am sceptical.

04-cheers

Sports dawg...the Montana schools may have to be in the WAC. They will go under the right senario because there is no place for the WAC to go. The state of Montana has more than enough cash on hand to bring them up to speed and whatever you may hear now they will not turn down a solid offer.

I say "NO" to Idaho, not because I hate the Vandals, or because I want to "keep them down" (what a load of crap that is). Heck I was a Vandal at one point in my life (sad but true). I say "NO" to the Vandals because they bring absolutely nothing to the table. Not one dammed thing. They have no facilities. They have no fan base. Little financial support. And they have no feasible plans to GET what they need. And they are extremely difficult to access geographically, i.e., it's not easy for other teams to travel to MosCOW, Idaho. Lastly why would anyone WANT to travel to Moscow, ID.? I can see wanting to travel to Reno, and Hawaii, or San Jose, or even Fresno and Boise, but MosCOW? Please, get real!!03-razz

If U.T.E.P. leaves for Conference Ewe-Ess-Eh (a moronic move on their part IMHO) the FAR more logical choice for the W.A.C. would be to invite North Texas out of the Sun Belt as a travel partner for Louisiana Tech. And secondly having to travel to Dallas (or just a few miles North of Dallas to be precise) beats the holy heck out of having to travel to Moscow, ID. Let's see now, Dallas, TX. vs. Moscow, ID. ..........the choice seems fairly obvious to me. 03-cool

Boise...what you say would be a good choice if those schools could afford it. here is another angle (and why I think Benson will opt for the Montana schools) La tech and UNT will both be in CUSA at some point. Might be sooner, might be later but you know it will happen. That said, Idaho, Montana, Montana State give hime regional stability. He needs stability more than anything right now.

Listen and Listen good, get the wax out of your ears. Montana & Montana State have no desire of jumping I-A. They are very content and happy in The Big Sky. Both ADs enjoy the set up of the playoff system and hate the BCS. This is only 2 reasons why both stay I-AA. The Big Sky is a stable lil I-AA conf consisting of Eastern Washington, Idaho St., Montana, Montana St., Northern Arizona, Portland St., Sacramento St., Weber St. . If something was to happen to 2 or more of those schools, 1 join another conf and 1 drop to Div II, then yes it would be a possiblity. But now and in the future if the Big Sky stays the way it is, it's not happening.

Turd Zoned is the guy who told us half the MAC was coming to CUSA and now he is predicting whats going on in the WAC. We checked up on him. he is a high school kid in Lafayette who has a Marshall shirt and lived in W Va in grade school. In between pimple treatments he gets on these boards so he can make ill informed predictions and insult people.

Can't we just all be friends?

We all have something in common.....We love College Football and Tailgating. So we have more in common than things to disagree about.

I think Idaho belongs in d1aa too. We have better facilities and fan support than they do.

Want to ask them yoursef TC here ya go. Here is Montana's message board, you will be laughed off the site. But go ahead. Montatna message boad <------ EGRIZ.COM. Wanna be laughed at somemore, cause quite frankly, no one likes you on this board, Is that the reason your on the WAC board now. Trying to make "NEW FRIENDS"

Beware of TC he doesn't like confrontation, disagreements, or anything of the sort, agree with him or he will threaten to sue you for 5K

And by the way go back and look at my posts you idiot. I said if C-USA was "SMART" they take Toledo. And gave the reasons why. Your prediction was just flat wrong, you said "NO OTHER SCHOOL BUT LA TECH WOULD GET THE INVITE". Don't try and spin this either "Well I was in the ballpark". UUUH No, Ruston to El Passo is 900 miles apart, no where in the ballpark. You're a damn LA Tech fan, you're no Houston fan blah blah blah.

And BroncoBob with these kind of fans or so called fans UUUUUH No.

Thank You, Thank You....... As I said Montana very happy at the I-AA level, they like the playoff system.

And I know plenty about Montana, I keep up with the top I-AAs Mr LA Tech
