a stat of any significance?
A) three games this season NIU has scored in the first half but not the second half.

Please explain why?

?lack of focus....
?lack of energy...
?adjustments made by D...
?mistake prone - weary - lack of depth....
?"bad luck"....
?meaningless coinicidence...

?other reasons...

or simply cannot be quantified/analyzed/interpreted

B) Five times in last six overtime games, Northwestern has won.

Explain why?

Lack of halftime/in-game adjustments by the COACHING STAFF....the opposition makes necessary adjustments, we keep doing the same crap that they have figured out how to stop..we have nothing to counter it.

We don't have a passing game.

Hard to make adjustments to having a bad QB and bad WRs.

If you want to blame coaches, blame for the lack of talent in the passing game.

I actually don't think it is a lack of adjustments in the second half. I think the opposing teams KNOW what our second half aadjustments are-at least on the offensive side. We tend to have a more open game in the first half and they KNOW we get conservative in the second half(run after run after run). As for defense, they get tired because of the 3 and out because of the running game(which as mentioned above, the opponent knows is coming).
