Seems petty if you ask me. I like the animation personally and technical fouls destroy a game in a hurry so I may not agree with it for the overall enjoyment. Hope it doesn't spread to crowd control.

I can understand them wanting to discourage the use of curse words. I hope they're not going to take this too far, though. I like seeing coaches emphatically protest when they believe bad calls are made. To me, that's part of the fun of watching the game.
