I was just checking out CFN's preview of Idaho to get an idea of what type of team they might have when i realized that the first paragraph of their preview looks a lot like the nevada preview!!
Nevada-
Believe it or not, there was a time when Nevada football didn't suck. Actually, it hasn't been horrible over the last few years, but the Wolf Pack used to be a yearly winner. From 1979 to 1991, Nevada was a regular in the I-AA playoffs before moving up a level and going to two Las Vegas Bowl games in three years. That was when Chris Ault was coaching.
Idaho-
Believe it or not, there once was a time when Idaho wasn't all that bad. In fact, Idaho was a regular fixture in the D-IAA Playoffs in the early-1990s getting into the post-season five times from 1990 to 1995. Little did anyone know that a key member of the coaching staff was cementing his roots for the future.
