Mr. Krysakowski, do you post ignorant crap just for the hell of it??
And just so you know, Tulsa is known as the GOLDEN HURRICANE and is located in the Central Great Plains where you can find golden wheat fields blowing in the wind! I think the name is suiting.
And for heaven's sake man, why should any school change it's name or mascot? Perhaps we at MTSU should change our name since there are no flying winged-horses located anywhere around Murfreesboro!
And perhaps UAB should change their nicknames since there are no fire-breathing dragons located anywhere near Birmingham!
Perhaps San Jose State should change their nickname and so should Michigan State since the Spartans are gone and neither school is located anywhere near Greece!! Same goes for Troy University and Southern Cal. There are no more Trojans, and those schools are located anywhere near Turkey!!
And I can't recall seeing tigers running in the wild in Memphis or Auburn, Alabama or Clemson, South Carolina or Springfield, Missouri!!!
Don't recall wildcats running loose around Lexington, Kentucky or Manhattan, Kansas!
David, please, just don't say anything else about schools changing their names.
Perhaps you should change your name to something that I feel describes you thoroughly--"DUMBA$$".
