There's been quite a bit of discussion on the 1AA board about this BCS move. Even though this olive branch is just a baby step for you, all agree that Lousiana Monroe will have about as much chance of making one of these Bowls as Lasalle has of making the 1AA playoffs. This is because of the strength of schedule situation. But...... it is a step in the right direction and this could be looked at as a last salvo by a sinking battle ship. The BCS looks to be dying. Why else would this process begin, they see the writing on the wall. The TV people see the huge potential in a playoff, they are clamouring for it and they are lining up conference contracts. The public is in favor of a playoff. The TV ratings would be through the roof. You guys should be thrilled that the winds are starting to blow your way. It's only a slight breeze but it's more than you had last year. Every storm begins with a breeze.

I understand that the SOS formula will be changing. We will not know how this will affect those outside the BCS fortress until the new formula is released.
