ATTENDANCE/QB
It's never too early to start talking about things that really matter, like, how many of us will be at HC? This is our last crowd of the year. And, would you not be more interested in seeing someone/anyone other than NICH and MORRIS? Season's over, let's have some fun and see what we got.

1. Attendance for HC=23K...it's still HC and weather looks good;
2. Attendance for two remaining games....guys it's 1AA time= an avg of 10,000.00
3. I will be more inclined to go the remaining two if NICH and MORRIS are NOT playing...I have seen enough.

RE: ATTENDANCE/QB
Noooo, we must save the precious red-shirt status so that our two young qbs are on the same 5 year plan.

I think you have proven time and time again you aren't quite sure what you want.

You want a new coach. Ok, that's a fine opinion.

BUT, you also want to rip the reshirt off a QB so that way he get's "experience" in a system that will change with a new coach.

Which do you want? A new Coach, or a QB who is going to learn novaks system?

I think maybe novak not taking the redshirt off a guy is very telling about what his choice is going to be about coming back. He is giving whoever the next head coach is 4 years with each of the 2 young guns. This isn't NCAA 08 where you can change your playbook just before the game and everyone is cool with it!

So again, figure out what you want. Whining to whine is just stupid.

RE: ATTENDANCE/QB
I've never said anything about wanting a new coach. So I don't know where that came from. Even so, I highly doubt our offense would change drastically next year, seeing that we will have a returning jr. running back and an entire receiving core of seniors(besides Cox).

We will also probably have the same O-Coordinator next year even if Novak is gone. If Novak has all the pull with this gameplan, maybe it's time for Witke to take a crack at it the rest of the season.

I just don't want our team to be trapped next year without a qb when we may have a decent team. We should know going into next year if we have a qb who has the "it" factor on the field. Nicholson doesn't have it, Morris doesn't have it, and if one of our freshman does, I don't think that a slightly different offensive gameplan would change that.

RE: ATTENDANCE/QB
i think attendence could be up to 24,000 or even closer to 25,000 if the weathers perfect.

and why is the season over? sure..we can't compete for a MAC title anymore..but these last 6 games are the ones that will build this team for next year and the years to come. not to mention we can spoil other teams ambitions (wisconsin, ball state)

remember, be proud to be a huskie and support our school. its homecoming, so be loud and get excited for the game. get people to come to the last 2 home games so that we can get at least 15,000 or even 20,000.

and besides..WE CAN ACTUALLY WIN THIS GAME! i know we are 1-5..but i don't think expecting a win over a 2-4 Western Mich team is that crazy!

Sounds like what we said before the SIU, EMU and Temple game.
