In continuation with BoiseStateRules' quarterback poll, which WAC runner do you think will end up with the most yards this season?

Stats from 2003 (carries - yards - TDs):
Carpenter (BSU): 21 - 160 - 1
Marks (BSU): 29 - 166 - 2
Wright (FSU): 190 - 1038 - 3
Bass (Haw): 53 - 307 - 3
Moats (LT): 199 - 1300 - 10
Kretschmer (UN): 245 - 1162 - 12
Lott (Rice): 98 - 714 - 3
Martin (SJSU): 199 - 520 - 2
Massey (SMU): 0 - 0 - 0
Parish (TU): 100 - 537 - 5
Jackson (UTEP): 208 - 1146 - 6

I'd guess Moats or Jackson. The Rice backs will probably have better per carry stats, but they spread the wealth too much for one of them to have much more than 1000 yards. 04-cheers

I think Parrish and Diles will spread the wealth for Tulsa, so their numbers won't be what they should. However, I haven't seen Parrish play since his ACL rehab, so I don't know how he's recovered.

I do not think Wright will start for the Dogs this year. The starter will likely be Mathis.

My vote goes to Mathis.

Moats!! Look at the offensive line in front of him. I think 2 of them are all-conference pre-season picks. (CFN has 2 of them rated in the top 30 league players - all positions)

I seriously doubt that any Boise State running back would have the most rushing yards this season unless Jeff Carpenter turns into a Brock Forsey like runner. Although it is said that Boise State WILL be running the ball a lot more this season.

My pick would be either Moats or Kretschmer (sic?). 04-cheers
