actually, the game is at Reliant Stadium. And it's on Sunday the 5th, not Saturday.

Hey, you are right. Rice's first game will be played on Sep. 5th, a SUNDAY, not on Saturday. And it will be played at 4 p.m. rather than 8 p.m. When was it changed to a Sunday game? And WHY?

The change happened when they decided to move the game to Reliant Stadium (which DOES NOT make me happy -- IMO, the game belongs on the campuses -- but I guess we need the money or something). I think it's on Sunday because the Texans have an event at Reliant on that Saturday.

So... bye-bye, home field advantage. :mad:

That said, I hope y'all (except for Minerfanatic) are right about the result! :D
