Is this what the Boise State football team's television schedule is going to look like this year? How many games is Channel 2 contractually guaranteed?

I'd pretty surprised if the Boise St-Fresno St game doesn't get picked up by at least ESPN Regional. I'm thinking more likely is a late decision regarding either ESPN/2.
IMHO, of course.

That is why I asked the question that I asked. Channel two is guaranteed a certain number of games to televise. If the guarantee is five games then there is no way the Fresno State game will be on ESPN unless one of the other games is given to Channel two to televise.

IINM, KBCI didn't have exclusivity to all 5 games last season (though contractually they did). Didn't they pick up the broadcast of at least one of the Sportwest broadcasts and air it?

I'm not sure about that. I think there were two games last year that were broadcast by SportsWest. And I think they were both aired locally here in Boise on Channel 2.
Just looking back at last season's schedule this is what I recall:
The Idaho State game was televised by Channel 2
The Idaho game was also televised by Channel 2
The Oregon State game was televised regionally for the Fox Sports network (I think).
The Wyoming game was televised by Channel 2
The La Tech game was televised by Channel 2
The Tulsa game was televised by SportsWest
The S.M.U. game was televised by Channel 2
I don't think the San Jose State game was televised, was it?
The B.Y.U. game was televised by E.S.P.N.
The U.T.E.P. game was televised by Channel 2. Or was it? Can't recall.
The Fresno State game was televised by E.S.P.N.
The Nevada game was televised by SportsWest
The Hawaii game was televised by ESPN II (or ESPN).
The T.C.U. game was televised by ESPN

I finally picked up my 2004 season poster from the Football Dept yesterday and it showed 'TBD' next to TV on SMU, LaTech, UTEP and Fresno.
Of course, Sportswest wasn't listed on the poster at all, so I guess there's a good chance that SW will pick up a couple of those. At least Fresno.
Again, I'd be surprised if Fresno isn't picked by ESPN. If not ESPN, some regional will pick it up.

According to the TV schedule for college football found on College Football News
<a href='http://www.collegefootballnews.com/2004/News/TV/TV.htm' target='_blank'>TV schedule as per CFN</a>
the Boise State vs. U.T.E.P. game and the Boise State vs. S.M.U. game and the Boise State vs. La Tech game will all be broadcast on ESPN Game Plan.
So that is two games this season on ESPN (or three on ESPN if Boise State goes to the Micron PC bowl game) and one game on ESPN II and three games on ESPN Game Plan and two games on SportsWest.
