"Tom Mays Recruiting Forum" sounds like a good name.

What a terrible loss to family, friends and MemphisTigers.Org.

God rest your blessed soul Idaho. I feel as if someone just told me a good friend had died, and in a sense, one did. You were not only one of the best to ever post here , but with your writings, you made us all feel as if you really knew us and were speaking to us personally, as if we were your friends. You will be missed greatly, and many of us saddened by your departure from earth, but I know you will be watching over the Tiger nation from your perch in Heaven, sitting next to God and Jesus. Thanks for sharing your time on Earth with us here at MemphisTigers.org. We are all better for it. Godspeed my friend.

In the years that I've been hanging around here, he was undoubtedly one of my favorite posters. I wish we could have known the man behind the screen.

RIP, Idaho...hope to finally meet you one day.

I agree. It should either be "Tom Mays Recruiting Forum" or "Tom 'IdahoTiger' Mays Recruiting Forum". His actual name needs to be in there somewhere.

IdahoTiger came across as a gentle soul, like a really good person. Like a lot of you are saying, even though all I knew of him was what he wrote on here, it does feel like a friend has died.

May the kingdom of heaven welcome a master communicator and wonderful person!

I feel like I knew him even though it was all message board. This really puts life in perspective. Let's enjoy each other and our presence on earth. If you haven't told someone that you truly love that you do, please do it right now. Tomorrow may be too late.

I agree with the re-naming of the forum for Idaho. It would be a small, but well deserved tribute.

May God Bless his family and all of you! AMEN!!!

RIP Idaho, I will miss his posts. I come one this board mainly for recruiting new. I usually had to wait until I got home to read his posts because they had so much content that I would have gotten in trouble for reading the board all day instead of working. I wanted to be sure to take everthing in he had to say. Between him, Tug, and KE, I always feel like we had the best info possible. G-D rest your soul, the kingdom of heaven just got a good one.

Jeff

Wow, my heart is so heavy right now. May God shine his blessings and love and strength on his family, especially his mom, right now and the weeks to come. Keith, thank you for sharing this information with us.

I agree on the recruiting forum name change. +1

R.I.P. Mr. Mays.

I agree that renaming the recruiting board after him is entirely appropriate.
