Why didn't NMSU and the WAC get ready for this today? They have known about this move for about two years. They are not doing their job. They need to update and hold press conferences and delete all messages about past WAC members at once. And there are spelling mistakes on the WAC website. This is not acceptable 03-banghead

Press conferences are not only about getting positive information to the fans, but they have to be timed to get the most attention. My guess is that with the holiday weekend, they thought next Tuesday would be the best day to attract the local media's attention.

BINGO!!!!! Maybe the reason you just posted about the NMSU press conference is the reason why the WAC office waited until Tuesday to come out with the new website, which will include the three new members.

I don't get your point. This is NMSU and the WAC and getting the local fan's hyped up about it in Las Cruces. What are they doing wrong? Sorry I just don't understand your complaint here. Seems like a good idea to me.

I still don't understand the bk reference minor fan's bring up. I guess this must be their favorite place to eat. Give it a rest already, it's old and it the fulton center doesn't look like a burger king so your "Slam" really doesn't hold any water. Try to come up with something original.

It's a joke dude, chill. Read the other thread where a couple people are bitching and complaining about the new WAC website being delayed four days. I know to them it's the end of the world but since those four days are over the July 4th weekend, I don't see any problems.

Welcome to the WAC.

:withstupid:

This reminds me of a Larry the Cable Guy comedy bit. He said something like, "I always get irritated when I go out to eat. I took this girl out to a nice place a while back. I rolled up the window and the tray fell off. Then she said, "You got mustard on my jacket." I was like, "I don't know what you are bitching about I had to smoke 800 packs of cigarrettes to get the jacket. Ungrateful is what she was."

That dating scenario is nothing new for Miner fans.

Anyone know what happened at this press conference. There's nothing on the NMSU site or BBS, and nothing on the WAC web site (other than the new logo, new website announcements).

OK, I'm confused as usual. Was there a press conference at 10:30AM on the 3rd floor of the Stan Fulton Athletic Center or not ? I was just hoping for some new WAC news on a slow Summer day.

To bad they didn't web cast the press conference. I have the Aggie pass which is supposed to include all press conferences and thus far they haven't shown any since the Reggie Theus hire.
