DAN 11 Interceptions in his last 5 starts
Dan just threw his 11th interception in his last 5 starts. Wow, and many of us thought Horvath was bad.

I could intercept him. He never looks away from his primary receiver.

When is it OK to say Britt Davis is a bust ? He hasn't done anything either, Nicholson hit's him in stride for a game sealing touchdown and he just straight drops it. That sure doesn't help a quarterback.

How about we open up the f***ing playbook??

What a joke. ZERO snaps from the shotgun this year. What do we have, 3 offensive formations and 7 plays?? Embarassing. Fire Novak or fire Wittke. Whoever is calling the shots needs to go NOW

In my opinion the play book is open, we just can't execute.

+1. The coaches recruited athletes, not football players. They make way way way too many mistakes. They would be sitting on the bench in CCL - I see that every week.

Is this the same QB who beat Toledo in Toledo?
He has regressed. You know why? Coaching.
He holds the ball way too long. Davis was open forever on Nicholson's pick, and he didn't get the ball to him soon enough.
He's not getting any better. Where's the coaching?

Coaching is at an additional premium in college sports. It all comes down to coaching and face it, NIU doesn't have great coaches.

He got lucky on a couple others.
Simon bailed him out on one and near the end of the game he should have had another.

RE: DAN 11 Interceptions in his last 5 starts
You guys are way too critical of Dan. I am telling you right now that DJ could be on the field right now and he is not going to make that difference. Again, if DN is playing with Notre Dame weapons, NIU is 3-0. We have receivers who can't get open and linemen who are inconsistent blocking.

You are wrong about Dan. He is getting way too much blame for this loss.

Did he drop the bomb?
Did he make numerous mistakes at safety (read: Kube is too stupid to play safety)?
Did he give up a reverse for a 68 yard touchdown?
Did he commit critical holding penalties?
Did he miss tackles to prevent first downs?
Did he look helpless rushing the passer on defense?
Was he the other team's b!tch on rushing plays?
Did he cover receivers and not turn his head when the receiver did?
Did he muff kicks so we started 4 or 5 drives inside our own 10 yard line?

You guys have no idea what you are talking about. Has Dan made mistakes? Of course. Is HE TOTALLY responsible like all of you are trying to make it seem like? Not even close. The lines are far more responsible for the poor performance this year. If you were drilled by a couple blind side hits, are you going to hold the ball beyond one thousand - three of the internal clock? If you say yes, then I need to block your posts as a meat head.

You sure about that? Notre Dame hasn't scored an offensive TD yet this season. Mark May just said on ESPN that Notre Dame has the worst offense in 1A.
Apparently, he hasn't watch us play.

Thank-you DJ for giving us such incredible National publicity!!!
Thank-you for choosing NIU!!!!
We are sure that NIU will offor a more hospitable environment than Notre dame!
Less preppy!!! (-:
It is closer to home, has cool students who appreciate talent.
Great facilities and a coaching staff that wants to see it's athletes succeed as people first.
May DJ have a charachtor and work ethic like GW and help lead NIU back to the MAC title game and another Bowl game!
If DJ shines at NIU, NFL is the next step!

By the way: DN did not have such a bad game! Great final touchdown!
