That's kind of wild. Frank Broyles is retiring as AD at the end of the year.

Any replacements names pop up yet, also what about Wanny since the new AD did not hire him if Wanny doesn't turn it around.

would have to agree....thing that's stinks is he's been able to get some good classes in there.....should translate into W's on the field at some point?

As long as Wanny has the backing of Nordenberg (Pitt Chancellor) then he'll be here.

Big game against MSU this week in East Lansing. It's year 3 and Pitt has to start producing wins against teams they are not favored against.

pretty strange hire. Pitt isn't exactly tearing it up. Imo they underperform nearly across the board. The mens basketball program is decent but always falls short of expectations and the football program speaks for itself.

Well, under his watch, he doubled the amount of alumni donations and was getting the non-revenue sports some attention and funding with the 'Quest for Excellence'. He also tried to get Pitt FB and BB on TV whenever possible.

He also brought us the 'dinobeagle'. I'll wait and see who they hire but I think they really need to clean house with the ticket office.

I live 2 doors down from Long's parents. Looks like the Pitt flag will come down and Arkansas will replace it... :)

That is too bad, I still hadn't had a chance to rub it in with my UC flag yet. UC hasn't beaten Pitt in football or basketball since joining the Big East.
