We don't play that pretty boy crap in this conference. It's in your face, physical, fast, quick and hard hitting. This conference is elite. The only conference that can match our speed is the SEC.

Dam I love this Big East.

Watching this game as an observer and looking at UC's season so far it would appear UC is a legit contender for the Big East title. Nobody is talking about UC but they could be this years big story.

Don't forget the PAC-10 had its way with Syracuse. They do play some football out west.

I hope Schiano has enough class and sense to vote for you guys this week and I'm sure he does after the loss last year and now this. Hopefully we have 4 or even 5 ranked teams this coming week when/if Auburn is upset by the Bulls. 5 out of 8 would say we have the best conference in America yes even better the $EC.

Congrats to Cincy! OSU is in trouble on defense next season with the vast majority of their starters being seniors. The state of Oregon must not play high school football since only one of their players was actually from the state. Wouldn't you hate to have to recruit all of your players from out of state?

I will give props to OSU's defensive line. For the most part, they manhandled our OL. There were times we got stuffed 2, 3 times in a row.

Our OL needs work if we want to challenge in BE play, especially the snaps. But I love the direction this is going!

And Bernard also has my respect. Despite his poor numbers, he was getting sh!t kicked out there and still getting back up.

-Big East #5 pick beating down PAC-10 #5 pick
-PAC 10 #8 pick beating down Big East #8 (last place)

We will not be ranked this week. We were getting no votes and beat a team that was just outside the top 25. I am hoping we pick up a significant portion of the votes Oregon State was getting and end up in the 30-35 range.

I don't know if you can really judge the Syracuse game yet (we'll get a better barometer of them when they go to Iowa tomorrow), but agreed, the Pac-10 can play somebody football. They are Big East west, getting no respect as a conference aside from USC. Even with their rankings they're perceived as weak and soft. While UC pounded Oregon State, State is a very physical team that gave UC offensive line trouble. And UC has a very good OL.
