American Cars on Top of Toyota in Long Term Reliability - AGAIN
For those of you who have been on this board I post this every year that JD Powers posts their long-term study.

I am not against foreign cars - however many people dismiss American cars for their percieved lack of quality then this is not the case. There are great American brands, as well as poor ones - as the goes with Japanese cars as well.

I have included several years for those who think this year is a fluke.

27 as someone who seems to know quite a bit about cars, has the American car's Warranty packages caught up to what the discount korean / japanese companies have been offering?

RE: American Cars on Top of Toyota in Long Term Reliability - AGAIN
A few things.

1. This belongs on the other board.

2. Most Toyotas in this counrty were built here so it is no surprise they are dropping to the "American" cars quality level.

3. The only problem I have had with my Hyundai Elantra that isn't normal wear and tear-tires, brakes, battery etc. (so far-knock on wood) is the clock doesn't work. I do have to say that they did throw the cheapest piece of crap clock they could find in it so it is not a surprise.

What do you care which board it's on? Couldn't you read the title? And do you still think Ara Parseghian is dead?
