How Many Games Does Genyk Need to Keep His Job
Now I like Jeff Genyk and I'm not Vince Lombardi could turn EMU football into a winner, but with Fallon leaving (and he was a big supporter of Genyk) how many games in this year's tough schedule does Genyk have to win to secure his job? I think 4 or 5 games which means he is going to have to beat a fair number of MAC teams.
I also think the new president may have something to say about Genyk's tenure but only if he or she comes from a school with a football program and a tradition of winning.

RE: How Many Games Does Genyk Need to Keep His Job
I think 4 or 5 will be plenty for him to keep his job, though I personally believe thay will win more than that. I really think its possible for them to start out 3-1 and with all the problems at Pitt, who knows? Im also not buying all the hype about CMU, WMU, Ohio etc being that much better than us, all of them are very beatable..of course going 1-11 nobody is scared of you...no more close losses, thay HAVE to win those games. Last year our offense was very predictable, not this year....6-6....

I'm going to say 5 games. 4 is still a poor season. Even 5 might be too low. I like Genyk and don't want to see him go, but i have to be realistic. I think 6 wins would guarantee him a return, and 5 will probably be good enough.
