I'm kind of glad that we are scheduling Wayne State now. The more in state teams we play the better IMO. Now if we could get a series going with Tech we would be in business.

I've heard that Wayne State really wants to join the CCHA. I don't see it happening, unless another team drops out of the league.

I was kind of hoping that a higher profile team (no offense to BG) would visit Lawson the first weekend in November. It would be a great kick-off to the extended CMU weekend and I would think that ESPN may be snooping around Lawson because of the John Saunders connection. What better video than a packed Lawson going crazy while knocking off the defending National Champs?

You are correct. WSU is interested. However, the feeling is not mutual. The CCHA at 12 teams is a big as they want to get, and IMO that is a wise position to take regardless of what schools may be interested in joining.
