Of their first four games, North Carolina is their only winnable game. I say they win that one, as UNC is horrible. They could very possibly lose to Houston and UCF to go 1-5 in the first half of the season.

I put us 2-3 through 5...and might run the table to 9-3...Our defense WILL be outstanding...We wont score alot of points but it wont be necessary.

UNC and either USM or Houston...then I really think we can win the rest...but we probably will lose one to someone we should beat...NCSU will be a really good game...but I think we tip them at home in front of a sellout.

As a ECU fan .... Im scared ECU could be staring a very unfavorable first half of the season down the barrel. I just can't see how we will beat Tech or WV and we don't traditionally do very well vs USM (though I think this one is winnable). ECU has to beat UNC... ECU best case scenario start 2-2.... but 0-4 could happen...0-4 is not exactly a moral builder either. I think ECU will have a tough time (not because there a bad team, but scheduling) of becoming bowl eligible this season. With that said ECU will be in the roll of spoiler at the end of the season...and if I was one of those CUSA teams needing a win I don't think I would want to come in vs ECU.

That is an issue. What could the games vs. VT and WV assuming they are ECU L's do to the psyche of the team? And, what I have read about the line having issues as well. How has ECU done in the trenches? How much does it have to improve? Those are questions that have to be answered for ECU to be a factor in 2007.

OK...now what do you think...USM CAN go down this Sat. and ECU will would be 2-1 and USM could be in danger of being out of the East race. Im not saying that will happen...and It will be a WAR in Greenville...May the best team win...all I know is USM better be ready to face a good team and 40k+ this Saturday....NO QUARTER!!!!

Wrong. Past players, schemes, team strengths, conditions, etc., have absolutely ZERO to do with those that will be present on Saturday. Teams have a life expectancy of 1 year.
