Me and you, we're not so much different. We both have ample time to post on a dead discussion board during the middle of the off-season.

Maybe I should get out of my cube and go make some sales calls.

In that regard...We can at last agree.

btw, are you really against teams exuding full glory with proper warm-up attire or were you just taking this opportunity to try and argue with me?

RE: warm ups
I'm down for whatever the players want. If they want to show up like with long shorts, wristbands on their ankles and sleeves to immitate AI, I'm all for it. As long as they can back it up. At the same time, if you look like a ******* and play like a *******, be prepared to be called a *******.

I think the NBA rule of always suit/tie is stupid and anything before the actual start of play should not be controlled by any league/sanctioning sports body. I would be for team rules.

Tshirts for warm ups aren't bad. I used to play HS sports. Warm ups were just in case it was too cold outside which normally isn't a problem in an arena.

It's more than that....I remember Marshall used to come out in their Green and White. If done correctly it's intimidating. We as a society, seem to be forgetting the subtle art of psychological warfare. Which I believe is the whole point of team colors, uniforms, nicknames, and pep bands.

RE: warm ups
I've never seen a tv commercial say "Sunday, Sunday Sunday!!!!"

But I don't watch tv. I do however watch movies, and I will say that movie trailers of today are becoming boring and formulaic as hell. So in the tradition of "Loud, Hard, Heaving sounding sells" I long for the day where they actually did that in movie trailers....SEE CLARK GABLE IN! IT'S SPELLBOUNDING!! Those were the days where movie advertising demanded your ass in a seat.

Or maybe he's not a mouth breathing, booger eater kennesaw fan with a limited IQ and vocabulary.

What a statement. Mouth breathing???? As opposed to nose breathing? You also used the phrase "booger eater" and then combined it with a cheap shot at someone else's vocabulary and their limited IQ. Next time you take a shot at someone's level of intelligence I would refrain from the use of the phrase "booger eater"

You ETSU fans crack me up.

KB,

If only UNF were represented here, then you could have someone to pick on.

RE: warm ups
I don't really care to pick on anyone. That is probably the difference. I have the ability to see another schools weaknesses and strengths. You tend to close your eyes to anything that doesn't glorify your own hopes and dreams for your team and dismiss anyone that doesn't kowtow to the almighty ETSU Buc. So to respond to your post: If UNF were on here I still wouldn't have anyone to pick on because that really isnt my style. I take more enjoyment pointing out you and your fellow ETSU Buc fan's stupidities and inaccuracies then picking on someone else.

RE: warm ups
Every ETSU fan knows where our athletic weaknesses are. Piss poor president, athletic director, senior women's administrator. We also understand that we play in a building built for football and track, and are in need of new facilities. As a whole we understand that we are in a REBUILDING PHASE AND ARE STILL KICKING YOUR A$$ in everything except women's soccer, which quite frankly the only thing those girls really contribute at our school is some extra eye candy and more money in the pockets of the local spirit distributors.
From a basketball standpoint we know that our team is not where it once was, yet we're still winning within the conference, and with the exception of laying an egg at Vanderbilt, have played respectable against teams that have made the NCAA tournament. We just find it hilarious that you guys are talking about being the best team in the conference, and winning the regular season every year and you've not been division I for any real length of time.
You guys continue to try and attempt to shoot holes in our program, and the most telling stat about the A-Sun is this...
In our last year in the Southern Conference we finished with only nine wins... With basically the SAME TEAM we came to the A-Sun and finished in the top four, with a winning record.
