2 Broncos signed to NFL contracts yesterday
FROM THE STORY FOUND ON THE IDAHO STATESMAN WEBSITE:
Two former Boise State players signed contracts with NFL teams Monday.
Former Bronco tight end Derek Schouman signed with the Buffalo Bills, while former Bronco receiver Legedu Naanee signed with the San Diego Chargers.
Schouman, a seventh-round selection, was a four-year starter for the Broncos and an All-WAC first-teamer in 2006. He's the third of the Bills' seven draft picks to sign with the team.
The 6-foot-2, 223-pound Schouman had 78 receptions for 1,009 yards and 11 touchdowns at Boise State.
Schouman is expected to be used as an H-back or tight end for the Bills. Buffalo has abandoned the use of a traditional fullback.
"I've been exposed to a little bit of the H-back thing and whatever they want me to do I'll try to do it," Schouman told BuffaloBills.com.
The 6-foot-2, 226-pound Naanee was taken with the 172nd overall selection. The Portland native was named first-team All-WAC last season after leading Boise State with 34 receptions and six touchdowns.
Naanee came to Boise State as a quarterback before finishing his college career as a wide receiver. The Chargers plan to use him in a variety of ways in their offense.

I hope Schouman makes the team. I want to shout "shoe!" every time he touches the ball in the NFL....
