I, for one, won't be going to Home Depot until Mr. Blank gets this taken care of.

Atlanta trades their #2 QB Matt Schaub to Houston...and now their #1 QB could be easily suspended by the new NFL Commish.
Who's left to play QB for ATL?

If Vick is founded guilty he will do some serious jail time. The Falcons should have never traded Schoub, Schwab or whatever his name was.
Ok, here is my point. They said on ESPN Sportscenter tonight that when a dog performed badly for Vick, he would hang it and in some cases beat it's head on the pavement until it was dead. You defend the sorry bastard, he evidently is your kind of guy.
ESPN also said Pat Sullivan was going to be our coach.
If you weren't there, then you know nothing.
I wonder if the federal officials who indicted him know anything. Ya think? ESPN must've lied and there really isn't an indictment. That's it. You've solved this issue.

Actually, Joey Harrington is behind Vick if Chris Redmond doesn't step in there (let's not even mention D.J. Shockley). Harrington isn't a bad choice, either...he was good enough to start for one of my fantasy teams when he was with the Lions a few years ago...

Ask O.J. what an indictment means.

Wasn't O.J. indicted by the state of California? Vick is being indicted by the federal government. Federal indictments aren't as easy to beat.

From what I read, they found dogs that were hanged, drowned and beaten to death. No where did it say that Vick did the hanging, drowning or beating them to death. He was indicted for conspiring to allow these fights to take place. That said, he is an idiot for allowing that stuff to go on at his house.

RE: OT:Michael Vick indicted by feds....
We have a winner! The difference between Pacman, Chris Henry, OJ, Dwayne Goodrich, Ray Lewis, Leonard Little, Gerald Sensabaugh, and the various assortment of criminals in the NFL is they ALL COMMITTED STATE/LOCAL CRIMES, nothing involving interstate commerce. The glove didn't fit OJ, but the fact of the matter is Chris Darden and Marcia Clark aren't prosecuting this case, and neither is Gerald Poindexter (Thank God). I think someone actually said on ESPN last night that Vick would have been better off getting into a brawl at a strip club, or beating someone up. It really isn't his entire family, his mother is a nice woman, just overwhelmed having to deal with two bonehead sons, who weren't done any favors in Blacksburg either. They had no discipline there, and were allowed to do whatever they wanted. Vick is SCREWED federally, and from a PR standpoint the Falcons need to either sign Culpepper, trade for Leftwich, or START DJ Shockley (I know they'll suck with Shock, but it'll eliminate the race card).

If any of us were being accused by the Federal Goverment of the crimes that he allegedly committed then I am willing to bet we wouldn't be questioning what's going to happen with our job because we would've already been shown our walking papers.
Vick is a thug, a poor leader, a poor role model, and a waste of money and running talent. Cut your losses Atlanta. Short the Michael Vick stock because it's going straight to the bottom.

That said, he's being indicted in the Eastern District of Virginia. I suspect there might be a few Hokies in the jury pool, and it only takes one to hang a jury. Its not like he's being tied in Blacksburg, but the Richmond metro area has quite a few Tech grads around so there is a pretty good chance that you might get a Hokie on the jury.

This might be the one crime where that wouldn't work. Tech is a huge cow college, chocked full of grass growing, cattle tending rednecks who also hunt and love their dogs. He's screwed.

Do the math.
If you honestly think that he knew NOTHING about the operation, regardless if he was involved or not, then you are an idiot.

Pet peeve of mine. Because 97% of previous indictments led to convictions does NOT mean that an indictment has a 97% chance of leading to a conviction. Why? Because each indictment is an independent event.
Think about it this way: If your QB starts off a game completing 13-13 passes, does that mean that pass #14 has a 100% chance of being complete?

I find it quite odd that someone claiming to root for "Duke Lacrosse" is so quick to condemn the accused (and that's all Vick is right now--the accused, not the convicted).
Not a bit surprised, though, considering who started this thread.
