I'm still around. I took the day off from work and am just now getting around to checking in from home. I really really don't want this baby to interfere with watching the game. Sunday is sounding better and better because I still feel pretty good.

As far as a name goes, a friend sent me a link where some video game marketer is offering a $10,000 savings bond to the first baby born on Sept. 1st as long as you name it "Turok." You have to keep the name for a year. I'm thinking it would be cool if you could pick the middle name and I'd go with Turok Testudo Neal for a year. What does everyone think? OTherwise, EJ Neal (how sweet would a score by him be?!) or Latrez Neal do have nice rings to them. Scooter's kind of cool too.

I'll try to check in right before the game tomorrow, even though you all will be tailgating heavily.

J

Hey Jules, I heard about that Tarok deal and it sounded pretty good! It's not like you really have to call your little dude that name, and you can change it in a year. You should do it!

And you can keep the other part!

OK, it's halftime and I'm home watching the game. No sign of baby yet. However, if this game doesn't make me go into labor, I don't know what will. Total Tums count so far: just 2. Not too bad. Aaaargh! I might start the Lamaze breathing a little early.

Julester, please have your baby soon. Then at least this thread will have something positive to keep track of. That game made this entire countdown worthless. We waited this long.....for that? UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The game did not send me into labor. Unfortunately I got to watch the WHOLE thing.

Logan Tyler arrived on September 5. 8 pounds, 15 ounces, 21 3/4 inches long. He's got some long skinny legs, so I'm thinking basketball may be the sport for him! Woohoo!! Our other son is built more for football. We'll see!

Anyone who wants to see pics on one of those freebie web sites can e-mail me privately at julieaneal@yahoo.com. I don't feel comfotable posting the link. It might be a while before I get back to you, though.
