Congratulations to the Big Hurt Frank Thomas on career home run #500. I grew up watching Thomas at the height of his ability. Over an 8 year stretch every one of his at bats was "must see TV". I haven't always agreed with Thomas' off the field issues, but I have always respected his talent.

Yep glad to see he got his 500th, too bad it happened in a midweek afternoon game in Minny when all of 10 people saw it.

At present, there are only 7 players in the history of Major League Baseball to have attained a career batting average of .300 or better and hit 500 home runs.
